Bendix BDW55 – water not heating

Bendix BDW55 pnc 911919221 – only washes with cold water and doesn’t dry. Do I need to replace the heater – How? Or is there a thermostat or something I need to check? Please help/advise

Hi

Could be heater but more likely would be dry joint on the heater relay on control pcb you can usually see it a mile off (Blackened mark on board and plastic cover), if your lucky a quick solder will sort it (plus its easier to check pcb first than dig out the heater!) Power off 😉
