ParticipantI have a customer with a Tricity Bendix 71968A small washing machine that is about 15 years old, she is an elderley lady and would like it repaired because she likes it, I need the pressure switch (number on switch is 211001.004 ) and I am hoping that maybe somewhere in the Country one of you lads might have one stashed away, its a long shot but I really would like to help this lady out if I can.
It looks like a single level switch, solid metal, the pressure hose connects onto the front and the connection point has broken away from the body.
If anyone has any info can you PM me or e-mail, many thanks to you all.

To help anyone who may think they have one, the part number is (was)572420418004 now obsolete.
Dave (the other one)
PS Dave, if you get no joy, bring the old one in here, I have loads of s/h p/switches, we may be able to match it up.

Is this the weird Bendix compact that drove the timer off the drum pulley? that was one strange machine. I think Zanussi still market a small relative of that now if you dont have any luck with the pressure swtich (even that was a odd looking thing)

ParticipantI’ve got a 7179 sat outside the workshop – I can check the p/sw in the morning for you. The Zan mini washer was just that – a perfectly conventional miniature washing machine. Alas, even that is mainly obsolete now.

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Been and had a look – this one is a metal case with two external microswitches on it; no numbers though.
If it sounds like what you want send me a PM with the address and I’ll stick it in the post for you.

Yes, driven by an egg shaped cam type thing which produces the most annoying clicking sound on spin.
