Been to one today, Bosch condenser dryer cuts out after 5 minutes and not getting hot. Brand new bespoke cottage kitchen, black granite worktops…nice. All the appliances are freestanding behind cupboard doors.
Customer mentioned that it took them ages to get the appliances in and that the fault only started after they were put in.
Pulled out the dryer and 😯 The ‘fitters’ had taken off the rear ducting from the fan to the element, exposing the element, wiring and the fan, just to make it fit (which it won’t cos of the large sticky out handle at the 11 o’clock position).
Customer left in no doubt that what they’ve done not only left them with a useless dryer but it was also lethal.
I wouldn’t like to be on the end of that phone call :rolls:TC

Went to a new gas hob that was not level, fitter told client the hob is distorted. :rolls:
Took lid off, low and behold the rear of the hob has two ridges on the vertical part of the base, the gas pipe was too short, it had pulled the hob backwards leaving a 5mm gap at the front and the rear ridges sat on top of the work top.
Cut out was correct size, just the gas fitter is a bit thick. 😆
