The guide is from 2007 so the links are dead, but I assume the advice would be similar, mainly avoid cheap brands.

There doesn’t seem to be much choice from what I can find, these are the dearer ones from curry’s:http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/s_action/compare/11434064-21807048-21889618.html

I was inclined towards the more expensive Bosch but I don’t see what it has that makes it £100 more expensive than the Zanussi. And the Zanussi has Adjustable racking and Adjustable water softener and the more expensive Bosch doesn’t. Or aqua sensor. I don’t know if that should be a deal breaker though. (I live in a very hard water area).

So if there’s anyone with any knowledge or who knows any machines I’ve not mentioned I’d be grateful for any advice. Or maybe avoid them altogether and stick to the washing-up bowl? Thanks.

    Hi

I have never seen the Zanussi so I can’t comment. As for the two Bosch compacts there is quite a bit more to the SKS623E12. Comparison between the two here It’s definitely worth the extra thirty odd pound difference.

Washing up in the bowl is less hygienic, more expensive and time consuming as well.

    HTH 🙂
