ParticipantWe recently moved house and can no longer accommodate our full sized washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher 🙁 Not a problem we thought, replace the washing machine with a washer dryer and keep the other appliances.
However having read several of your articles and seen many of the threads regarding washer dryers the overwhelming option seems to be don’t but this type of appliance.
So my question is, given that I still want all three appliances would we better to keep the separate washing machine and tumble dryer and look to accommodate a slimline dishwasher?
Any advise re slimline dishwashers would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The space they take up would be better utilised instead with a wine rack!
But if you live on your own and have an aversion to hand washing/Marigolds/Fairy liquid then a slimline may just work (until the guarantee runs out). The challenge is loading the cereal bowl, glass tumbler, a couple of side plates, two dinner plates, several tea mugs, one beer glass and a few knives and forks. Then try adding a saucepan, grill pan rack, spatula and a few serving spoons in the hope that after a 3 hour wash cycle all the effort was worth it?

What is it about slimline dishwashers that make them such
a poor option? -
