Best detergent for glass care?

I currently use the finish tablets,have used the liquid in the past and have tried fairy tablets also.

I also wash mainly on a delicates setting,so not too hot a wash.

Is it possible to use a dishwasher for glassware and not scratch it with long term use? I only have cheap glasses to be honest as I hate the way they look after repeated dishwashing. (visible scratches and a whitish bloom making them opaque)

Is there a detergent that will prevent this totally or it it something to live with?

Its a chicken and egg situation, cheap glass = marks on glass.

I wouldn’t risk my lead crystal in a dishwasher but its not really the fault of the detergent or the dishwasher TBH.
