ParticipantI am having a fitted kitchen fitted very soon, I have got a quote and this includes a Diplomat ADP8322 integrated Dishwasher at around £305. From searching on here I understand that these are made by Whirpool. However this is not set in stone and I know how troublesome dishwashers can be. I do not mind paying a bit more for a more reliable machine from another supplier, however if the Diplomats are not that bad I will probably go for one of these. I have also considered an AEG, but I really do not know. I know to avoid Zanussi as members of my family have had nothing but grief with these dishwashers, unless all cheapish ones are junk?

KeymasterAEG is owned by Electrolux, as is Zanussi. Much the same thing really. 😉
Smeg isn’t a bad option as well asthe usual upper end Bosch, Siemens and Neff.

Note how there’s endless posts about Diplomats in the dishwasher forum :eeek:
Spend the money and get something reliable.
Expensive usually equals reliablity (unless it’s all flashing lights), which is better for an intergrated machine, because when it’s breaks, it all has to come out again.

I read on the Which website that Bosch were good machines? These are fairly expensive for an integrated machine. However everywhere else seems to mention Miele and Siemens. If only I could convince my girlfriend to have a slot-in dishwasher instead 🙄

Miele and Siemens make the best washers, dyers and dishwashers IMHO. Bosch are just cheapo Siemens (same company).

You could throw away your cupboard door, then tell her that you lost it 😆

Ok thanks for the help, I have just ordered a Bosch SGV53E03GB integrated dishwasher. It was the most that I could really afford, it has a 2 years parts and labour warranty so hopefully it is pretty decent for the manufacturer to offer longer than the standard 1 year. I agree there is far to many threads on here about Diplomat dishwashers messing up so better off to avoid, whether this is because they are generally rubbish or because they are a very common brand sold with kitchens (so more likely to hear about failures than brands not as common) I do not really know. Still do not want to take the chance. Thanks again 😉

A bit of both 😉
That Bosch should be good for you
Ordered? Are you doing the installation yourself?

Yes I have ordered the Bosch. No I am not installing it, a plumber is that is working with the kitchen fitters (when they need him). All the plumbing needs to be moved and modified so no way was I going to be messing about with it 😉
