Re: Best washing for this customer

Sorry Steve I missed this until Jim posted a moment ago, my apologies.

Jim’s right though, the ISE10 is probably a lot better as it will be faster and has the extra warranty on it although it depends on whether they need a fast wash time or not. TBH it’s the ideal machine for the purpose from what I can see.

It also depends on the “when” as the new ISE5 is due in a few weeks all being well and it will do a cotton 40 in 1:35. An ISE2 will take the usual about 2 hours for that.

It’s the old story, you get what you pay for really and I guess they just have to weigh up what they want for the money against what‘s possible for it.

There is of course one major advantage to ISE from your perspective, you will have full access to spares and tech info as well as tech support if you need it. 😉

You could also tell him that the Whirpool only has an ABB rating, so poor spin and less energy efficient.

Went to customer yesterday and he’s got a flyer from some company that states it the AWM9000 meets Cat 5 prevention control so he phoned local water company and they agreed it was ok !! So he’s refusing to have the plumbing work done and is buying it. Oh well, I guess I’ll get the job of repairing it when it goes wrong.

    No ISE I’m afraid…
