Beware, the Rumanians are coming !

No disrespect to them- but went to a Slot in oven ( double , with hob ) today where it was reported dead,it had been wired up by a Rumanian “electrician” &
6mm supply cable had 13amp plug botched on with ins’ tape to cover bare leads from plug, connected to a double socket / obviously fault was blown fuse.

Landlady was Rumanian And said he was a good friend , who just come over here as before he’d worked as a spark in his homeland. (apparently qualified)
She also said he was now working in London as an electrician , so should feel at home there then. 😉

Great to welcome our European neighbours here innit.
As if we haven’t got enough British cowboys here already!

It’s a good job he was Qualified imagine if you had a unqualified Romanian wire it up.

It’s a good job he had training in Romania or it might have been dangerous.
