Most of us spend the time and observe what the machine actually does…..

Standard leaks…….. Circ pump. Overflow turret. Early versions had dribble tubes at the front of the tub. Distorted tub front causing the bottom door seal to fall off. Knackered bottom door seal anyway. Spilt bottom rotor. Top door latch loop not pulling door fully home. Twist fit pump “O” ring leaking. Mice eating drain hose. Choked pressure switch chamber. Water in pressure switch. Water in pressure switch hose. Pin hole in tub base. Jammed rotors spraying water into the door seal rather than rotating. Oh – 3-in-1 tablets. Seen ’em all…..

    Take your pick……….

    Chris.

Not forgetting the weepy fill hose dribbling down the back panel.

thanks chris for your reply. dont think it is coming from the door if the pump is leaking can the o ring be replaced on its own. no water on the floor just in the base. any that i went to so far with flooded base never had to go back. went ok after the base was dried if it is a choked pressure chamber or what is a overflow turrent does it over flow when their is a blockage in the i w m s or tranfare pipes and if the main washer pump is leaking is there a seal kit for it thanks fasetester 🙂

    Hi Fasetester

It would be a good idea to go to the call,Take the panels off,dry out the base, then Get the customer to make you a nice cup of tea or coffee and take a seat on the floor and watch for the next 30-45 mins to see where the water is coming from. Then take the nessesary action by repairing or replacing that part.

If you check through spares availablility with your spares suppliers they will be able to let you know if they hold seal or repair kits in stock,But in all honesty if the seals have gone then quote and replace the whole unit.

thanks guys went back to dishwasher pipe that feeds top basket leaking. treads broke away from the pipe does the seals come with this pipe. the one on the big white nut where the basket pushes into looks a bit worn and the bottom connection that is connected to the heater is one of the crimp type hose clips can the be reused or would a screw type hose clip do fasetester. 🙂
