Bottom spray arm not turning. No blockages.
Found the remains of a seal of some kind in the filter Could it be from under the lower spray arm?
Never had one of these in bits before, any help appreciated.

Was the seal rubber or plastic ?

It sounds like what is described as the “milled bush” 😯 which is quite common on these Brandt made dishwashers to fail.

You can order the spray arm support part number 31X8361 or Hotpoint’s part number 1801541 and it comes with a new bush.

Thanks Dave that sounds like the most likely culprit.
The main filter has also curled up at the edges and is letting the cr4p through.
Do you have this part number to hand.
    Many thanks

Making progress with this one Dave ,thanks for the help.
Now that I’ve got it going the door seal is leaking!
I have got the Hotpoint part number but I can’t find the Brandt equivalent to compare prices.
    Can you assist?

It’s more likely the lower spray arm has a split down the seam causing the leak Steve 😉

    Lower spray arm – 31X9985

    Door seal – 31X9540

Spray arm is a new one that came with the filter kit and is OK so I’m going to go for the door seal.
This one is starting to get expensive! 🙁
