I’ve got a BFI62 machine, purchased as part of a new build property.
Registered with Hotpoint, and has a two year warranty from registration.
After 11 months, the selector button became very difficult to move to select a programme, and was repaired by Hotpoint under warranty. This has since done exactly the same thing, where it appears the control module is only secured with one screw, and when the machine heats up (only happens after a programme has been ran), the control module drops, and this causes the selector button to jam.
Has anyone else noticed this particular fault with Indesit, Hotpoint or other Merloni models….
