Have been browsing the general forum, there is a discussion on machine rinsing and soaps. I am about to replace my 4 year old hotpoint and would like a non-eco, lots of water in the rinse type model. Is there such a beast? I know its not eco friendly, but I end up putting the rinse cycle on twice anyway just to get rid of the spare soap.

I have taken some advice on the soap to use so will see if that makes a difference, however, new machine required and would like a thirsty one. Cheers.

    Hi

The ISE10 can have the rinse options increased by an engineer this thread covered it IIRC.

This apart the only machine I know of which uses large amounts of water and does have a large capacity is the Whirlpool American top loader.

Heres an idea, buy a reconditioned machine from years ago, these machines will use up to twice as much a a new eco-friendly type washer,
make sure it is atleast 12 years old or so if not it may use less water.

Also look our for super rinse and higher water level options if you can.

They are fairly cheap around £145 and there is a shop local to me that does them with a 12 month warranty. There should be such a shop local to yourself!

    Hi

If you are going to go down the recon route, go for a Hotpoint as there is still a lot of spares out there at good prices. They are also easier by far to work on compared to others of a similar age.

Thanks for the info. There is a well respected engineer near us, I’ll ask him for some help in looking for an old hotpoint.
