Please help. When connecting the aqua stop to the supply line (a brass tap under the sink) it leaks from the actual aqua stop connector around the bottom. There is some kind of filter in the aqua stop that has the rubber gasket and seems to be intact. Should there be a separate connector between the tap and the aqua stop connector? The aqua stop came with the dishwasher. Maybe I should just use a regular supply hose.
    Thanks for ANY help, Mike.

They should usually be self sealing assuming that the washer is okay and you haven’t cross threaded it, which is surprisingly easy to do with those on some installs.

The supply hose goes from the dishwasher to what I believe is the pressure chamber on the aqua stop. The 3/4″ connector on the pressure chamber that goes to water supply line is what leaks when i turn on the water.

Yup, and it should self seal when you tighten it unless the seal is faulty or the connector is cross threaded if I’m reading it right.

Seems as though we have similar problems. Leak on ours is not the brass connection to the fawcett, but below the unit itself. Any reports of this, such as pin holes? We are currently remodeling because of the slow, undected leak so it may be a few days before we can test it again.
