Black Fridge/Freezer

Hello, I’ve seen a Sandstrom and a Samsung black fridge/freezer that I like the look of under £500. Please advise if these makes are any good or should I be looking at another? Many thanks.

Avoid the Samsung like the plague . Sandstrom is a Currys group brand and not a manufacturer so when it goes faulty they don’t give independents any technical so your stuck with their back up.

Have a look at the Gorenje range if you really only want black.

Thanks for the quick reply Bryan. Ok re the Sandstrom could see that might be asking for trouble if ever a breakdown but why a strong no on the Samsung? At the mo there’s additional 5yr warranty being offered, wouldn’t have thought that would be done unless confident in their product?! Any views appreciated.

They need the 5 yr warranty as they are not reliable,Inherent defects on the new models that have been on the models for the past 10+ years and they still produce the new models using the same ideas and faulty designs.They can’t (won’t) change as its a marketing gimmick..single section cooling.

Many thanks for the info, noted and have been back to the drawing board! I can’t find a black one I like in my price range by a quality manufacturer but have found these two and wondered what would be the better buy?
Liebherr CUPSL3021 have read on here that the make is as good as it gets but it isn’t frost free or have the AirFreshFilter system as this Bosch KGN34VL20G. Regards MrsMc.
