Black Oil on my dishes from my zanussi DX6451

My problem with my Zanussi dishwasher DX6451 is that I am getting black globules of what appears to be thick oil , left on plastic containers. The repair man said that it was because I use the 5in1 tablet as well as using salt and rinse aid , he also said I could continue to use the rinse aid but on a lower setting.
I am not convinced he knew what he was doing .

There is nothing in your machine which will generate black oily deposits, therefore you should consider that the deposits which have built up over the past 3 or 4 years in the tubework under the machine are now breaking up and depositing in the tub.

Multifunction tablets are not popular amongst service engineers – THIS article will outline our reservations.

Your engineer was not incorrect – he could have done more to explain the problem.

I’d get some of THIS STUFF and run them through.
