Hello,
My IWMS had to be repaired some months ago because of black sludge. I’m waiting for an engineer to call to diagnose my latest problems (see my other de6965 al5 thread) but I’ve had a peek and there is the beginnings of some sludge in that one too.
I understand it is dirt from the water mains and that it can also foul-up washing machines.
Can it be filtered? If so what micron size filter is required? I’m thinking new cartridges may work out cheaper than new IWMSes!
