    Hi guys,

Yucky question but in regards to soaking white shirts with under arm staining, the faq says to use peroxide bleach.

Which product would that be then? I’m thinking not domestos 😀

The shirts might be past their best but I thought this would be good practice.
I’ve tried different deodorants so now I’m looking to prolong the clothing.

    Thanks

    Jez

Presumably you refer to regular cotton shirts? Then normal regular washing in normal detergent on the correct cycle should keep staining in check. Beyond that I would recommend the use of ‘vanish’ on the affected area and wash as per the guidelines. Ensure that the staining is fully removed before tumble drying otherwise the staining ‘yellows’ and the shirt ruined. Peroxide bleach fine on pure white cotton but not necessary in the grand scheme of all this mucky and smelly….yuk, phew, is that you?

    Thanks Martin,

Yup, yellowed due to tumble drying.

I think the problem is we only use non bio on everything because of the little people and my misses can’t be persuaded until the youngest is much older.

I shall send them to the rags bin.

    Cheers
