…making increasingly rumbly sounds…

Can you supply these (they’re not shown in your shop), how much and are they an easy job for a competent DIY-er/mechanic?

I presume it’s best to replace the seal at the same time, will I need anything else?

Hi,

There is no bearing kit as such for this model I’m afraid, the bearings will be generic, the seal is around £25 which will need replacing.

You’ll need to to do 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the job beforehand and let us know the bearing sizes please (Blomberg/Brandt the manufacturer) show the bearings but have a horrrendous price tag of £20+ for each bearing when they can easily be supplied for less than half that 🙂

The bearing numbers will be 620?, possibly 6205 and 6206 I think for this model (anyone confirm ?)

BB05100 Contains 2 x 6205 bearings and the seal is 30×62/75×10/16 which should be stamped on it normally.

If you could confirm those sizes are correct when the machine has been dismantled I can sort the rest for you 🙂

Thanks for the responses. OK, I’ve interrupted the Missus’s (wash) cycles 😳 to discover:

Outer Bearing is stamped Italy-B W 5KF 6305-2Z/C3

Inner Bearing: Malasia 216 164 W 5KF 6306-2Z/C3

Seal is: Rolf 35 72/79 11/16 FL

Machine is now in bits, I could use the parts before next weekend if possible. Pls call me on *********** when you’re ready.

6305 and 6306 bearings are not a problem, the seal will be as described in my first reply.

Could you send an email please to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the model number and the two bearing sizes above and I will sort from there for you 😀
