My Blomberg 1301 ABB cut out yesterday while on a wash cycle and now will not turn on.
I have replaced the fuse in the plug and am now also using a rcd (both of which i have tested and are working perfectly)
The machine shows no life what so ever when plugged in / turned on (not even the ‘door lock’ light.)
Upon opening the top of the machine i noticed the earth wire attached to the top of the drum had become disconnected – it is now reconnected. No damaged components/wiring could be seen upon initial inspection.

Any one got any ideas? am i missing something as simple as a reset switch…?

Probably the door interlock on these models, quite a common failure.

If you’re unsure of how to go about checking, please call an engineer, you can check in repairs@ and the directories for one near you.

If you are going to have a go yourself, pull the plug 1st please :zap:

I’ve also deleted you’re other rather longer post as there’s enough info in this one to be able to advise 😉

    Dave.

This realy could be anything, suspect the timer/cotrol unit though which sometimes goes bang by itself or somethng else like the motor can cause it to go.
A complex machine and I would advise expert help.
