blomberg 1301abb drum not turning

Hello hope you can help (again!)
Our blomberg 1301abb seems to have died. Yesterday the drum didn’t spin during main wash, I managed to coax it into a very short spin after reloading the machine. However today when I tried a load the drum didn’t turn at all and the cycle didn’t seem to be progressing at all. I’d just put the load in before heading out and 3hrs later it was still in the cold wash. Water fills and drains ok though.
Anyway after a bit of reading through the thread and poking about in the machine I think my brushes may be the problem here’s a pic;

Question is; if my brushes are at fault how much to replace? How long to get them to Australia? and is this likely to fix the machine? i.e. is it new machine time for me (bearing in mind the machine is 8yrs old and no-one over here knows about blombergs).
Also can anyone tell me how to get the pressure bell off so that I can clean it (Im assuming its the opaque bottle looking thing at the rear of the drum).

The air bell is just a push fit, but it is tight.
