The grommet has a lip turning down on the inside, which will obstruct the passage of any implement pushed through, so be careful. Best way is to actually remove it and wash it.

Just another thing to check, after mine stopped spinning I found that one of the wires had come off the sensor at the bottom of the drum – putting that back one cured it.

Hi – I Have a slightly different Spin issue with my Blomberg – its operator (the wife 😀 ) has a tendeceny to run it always at max RPM (1500)on spin…recently its started tripping a circuit breaker when its on its spin cycle……so I reduce the spin speed to 1300 and it doesn’t trip the breaker anymore but it does sound like its having a job maintaining the spin speed, therefore I suspect the belt is maybe slipping or worn out (its about 5yrs old)

Anybody know which belt I should buy and where I can get it – most of the net sites dont seem to stock them….or if you have any other suggestions I’d appreciate it .

Drive belt won’t trip the circuit breaker.

Motor brushes probably worn. You may need these:

Power off if handling motor.

Hi Pengiun,

Had a look at the carbons they are only about half way through – I took out the motor cleaned it up reinstalled it. Cleaned out the little port on the front of the machine (there was a bra wire in there) – anyways its still not working.

What happens now is it starts to rotate then stops , waits a few mins goes to start a rotation then stops etc etc….pump seems to be ok , motor is turning , the drum rotates but seems to trip out after 1 sec..

I also cleaned out the pressure bell , but didn’t notice anything suspect (very small amount of sludge).

I suspect maybe elctronics prob now – any ideas ??

Somebody mentioned an unbalance sensor – ?

Update – called out an engineer….checked it all out – fault is in the electronics……time for a new machine….

Hi

Just found this as mine has stop spinning, just wanted to ask how easy is it to get the pressure bell out. Do I need to dismantle the back or does it just clip out.

Must admit not good at taking things apart (with out breaking them that is 🙂 ) so not sure if I should just get an enginer out.

Power off, rear cover off, bottle is just a push fit…… It’s all in the first few posts on P1 of this thread.

Thanks Penguin45 for the quick reply.

Done that, it was a bit stiff which was why I was unsure if I was missing something.

Still no spin, Decided to try a wash to see if everything else was working, its not, what It does is get to the main wash bit and stop (didn’t do pre-wash or anything).

Any Ideas would be gratefully received.

Worked a treat!!
Wife is VERY happy, may get some horizontal jogging !!! 😆
