I have recently been given a Blomberg 1501AAA. It has had a new pump, new bearings and a new heater element fitted in the past six months. It stopped spinning, so I was given the machine which the owner was fed up of spending out on. I’ve cleaned out the pressure bell and tube, and the only other thing that needs replacing are the brushes, which are almost non existant!
My problem now is which machine to keep. My Bosch 1401WFF has also had new bearings, pump, and heater element (bought from UK Whitegoods, of course) around 6 months ago. They both appear to be well built and designed, they are both german built machines as well.

If you had the choice, which would you keep???

Keep them both 😉 , use the Blomberg till it breaks down throw it away and then use the Bosch. The repairs it has had to it would give a longer life span than the Blomberg. If you don`t have space for two keep the Bosch.
