    Hi guys

first of all this site is great because I wouldnt have got as far as I have without it……. penguin 45 et al take a bow

    The symptoms are:

    – initial prewash filling is working
    – main cycle consists of lots of clicking and a steam/kettle like sound which presumably is water heating…. but no drum cycle
    – pump works nicely
    – spin fails

so after reading the other threads on this and the previous model I have:

    – cleaned the pressure bell
    – cleaned the grommit
    – blown down the tube and gained 3 clicks
    – run a 90deg cycle (with same symptoms)
    – got the motor out and checked the brushes

like a previous poster I guess it is at this point that I probably need a bit of reassurance as to the issue at hand……… so here are some photos of the brushes and motor

are the brushes visibly the issue?

and aside from those the majority of the issues for this and the previous model on this forum have been about spin cycle and dont seem to have included wash cycle…….. is this significant in determining what the issue is ?

    many thanks in advance

Re: Blomberg 1503 AS wash and spin cycle problem

    BRUSHES ARE HERE.

Note the slightly longer length of the replacements.
