    Hi,

I have a Blomberg CFF 215 Fridge-Freezer which has always worked fine but now on reinstalling it after moving house and having it in storage it has a problem which seems strange, although it doesn’t look on inspection as if it has been damaged in any way in transit and all pipework looks sound.

The problem is that although there is power to it (light comes on etc.) as does a hot element in refrigerator compartment (to do with frost free operation maybe?) it does not start running and cooling and gets hot rather than cold (slowly cooked my food!)and the compressor etc is not running/ being started even when left switched on for a few hours.

I was wondering suggestions on possible causes for this please and whether it can be fixed affordably. Someone suggested a new thermostat which seems like popular advice on here, do you reckon that might fit for this problem? Some one else suggested refilling the gas in it, seemed unlikely to me but would that fit?

Thanks very much for any help
    Chris
