Blomberg Dishwasher Code E01

The dishwasher wasn’t draining properly and the code appeared, we cleared the outside drain and suddenly got a backwash of water at the bottom of the machine. We have unplugged it and left it for 10 minutes. The water drained completely, but we still have the error message and the program whilst the number has come up for it to run the error message is still appearing. Please help any advice much appreciated.

Try tilting the machine up and see if any water comes out. It sounds like it thinks the water’s overflowed (or perhaps more accurately that it *has* overflowed).

Edit: I would expect the drain valve to be operating continuously though if this was the case so maybe it’s not this.
