KeymasterHi Seeking a spare parts distributor for a Blomberg commercial washer door hinge replacement. Will order from Australia.
Can anyone help me.
thanksFebruary 9, 2004 at 9:20 am #109162kwatt
KeymasterHi Julie,
In the UK the Blomberg name is basically a brand name for Comet and most of the washers are made by either Brandt Group or Philco (Merloni) and I am not aware of any commercial appliances using that name in the UK.
The problem is that in different areas of the world the manufacturer that owns that brand name will often “lease” the brand name for use by another manufacturer for that region only. For example the Frigidaire name is owned by Electrolux and is Lux product sold under that brand in the US but in the UK it is an independent distributor that owns it with the appliances being produced mostly in the Eastern Block countires. Likewise there is a similar situation with the name Kelvinator, which actually doesn’t really exist as a manufacturer anymore.
So in effect, it could be anything in disguise. 😕
The only thing I can offer to do is, if you give me the model number, I’ll plug it inro Agora (Brandt’s spares system) and see if it pulls anything up.

KeymasterHi,
I am looking for an oven door for Blomberg . Its a double fan-assisted oven (green). Lower door (main oven)
Model EOD607RG
Type B14
Serial No. p/c 910088
The glass fell out and smashed. The whole door needs replacing.
Hope you can help.February 11, 2004 at 11:50 am #109165kwatt
KeymasterHi Anne,
They are not supplied as a full door, few are, and the outer door glass is listed as part number 76X8944 @ £44.37 excl VAT. It is a special order but is in stock in France.
If the glass fell out then probably the door handle and/or the lower glass retaining strip is also faulty since these two items hold it in place.
Hope that helps.

Blomberg is Comet’s own brand name.
If you can post the model number and the part you need we may be able to help, otherwise, it’s back to Comet.
Dave.
