I have the above fridge freezer, its over 10yrs old. It was recently moved to lay a floor, it remained upright. Following this my cleaners cleaned the inside.
The center compartment can either be a fridge or a freezer. We have always left it as a freezer.
4 days ago the center variable compartment defrosted. I am unable to make it freeze again. The top fridge works and the lower freezer is frozen.
When the center compartment is set to freezer the green indicator flashes indicating a fault, and sometimes the red freezer warning light is on. I have tried altering the temperature controle nob for the center compartment both colder and warmer (each time leaving it for a few hrs) with no effect.
I have moved the multi function compartment switch to 0’c and moved the adjustable temperature selector at the back of the center compartment to +3/0 setting and the 0’c+3 light lights appropriately.
When all controles are moved back to the freezer settings againe then the lights flash.Has anyone any ideas on how to fix it?
