Hello all,
I want some opinion on what anyone may think had happened here?
We have a built in Blomberg fridge freezer. Was fitted as part of a kitchen refit 2 years ago, and is still under warranty thankfully.
It’s been fine, but lately, we’ve been noticing the fridge wasn’t quite as cold …slowly worsening. Last two weeks, we had stuff go off whilst still in date and it was clear it isn’t functioning properly. The freezer however is fine.
Engineer is coming out tomorrow. The wife is Type 1 diabetic and we need a fridge to store her insulin so I bought a cheap one locally from Facebook and emptied it this morning into the new temp one.
Anyway, once stripped, I noticed this at the top, at the back of the fridge

It almost looks like the back panel has ‘blown’…? The only thing I could think of is possibly an ice build up behind it which has pushed the panel forward….however, it’s supposed to be a frost free model, defrosting not required etc!
Any thoughts from the knowledgeable?!
