ParticipantI am stuck on this problem please help!
The brand new unit has one of most unusefull sections (outside of Ikea swedish icons) to guide how to attach a wooden door panel to the fridge ….. blomberg helpline agrees that this ‘leaflet’ is unfathomable Eg I don’t want mess-up new door by trying self drill screws in machine screw hole or visversa
Grateful for any wisdom out there …. will also post elsewhere in this helpsite 😡July 10, 2016 at 7:39 am #439225Martin

You didn’t enlighten us with the model number? But looking at the installation manual of one Blomberg from their web site then I have to agree with you…..

Thanks Martin – the model no on the handbook is SEIT1883; But the invoice and mark on the fridge is TSM1750ou
Blomberg helpline didn’t recognise the SEIT 1883 number!July 10, 2016 at 9:49 pm #439227Martin

Actually looking at the installation instructions in the manual (Page 16 onwards) the decor door fixings are pretty well illustrated. The measurements shown and the screw fixings all numbered. Typical of many such integrated appliance instructions to be honest.
Experienced installers of built in appliances wouldn’t have much trouble with that. But for DIYers it is a bit daunting I must confess.
Good luck

Thanks again Martin – I guess on DIYer basis the first problem to overcome, no differential between self drill holes and machine screw / don’t want to inadvertently mix those up!

Hi
Blomberg is owned by Beko and mainly supplied to Euronics dealers As Martin said probably a bit daunting when installing one for the first time.
I have to say the installation instructions are far better than some of the other manufacturers out there..
