Good evening all,
A customer contacted me to take a look at the above freestanding dishwasher, which I did earlier today.
He reported that no water was entering the machine, and he had fitted his own aqua stop hose in hoping to cure the fault.
He confirmed on the phone, that the dishwasher was making a noise, but no water was being drawn.
So, I suspected that the anti-flood device may have kicked in.
However, when visiting today, I established that the above wasn’t the case.
When setting a new programme, the machine drains as expected, and then does draw water.
However, it is over-filling, and the circulation/heat pump isn’t kicking in.
So, there may be two faults… I removed bothe side panels, in ordr to try and locate a pressure switch, and chamber to no avail…
Hence, I suspect that the water level is monitored via the impellor/flow meter, and also electronically, with one of two sensors in the sump base, one of which may be a temperature sensor, and another a turbidity sensor?
Technical/Any information on the above “sketchy,” so would appreciate any help, prior to returning/carrying out further tests…
Many thanks,
jonty
