Hi,
desperately need a pair of motor brushes for a Blomberg Washing Machine 1503as. French Selni Motor. Can’t bear the thought of going through Comet 😥

are the brush holders retained by a single screw? If so I have some…but they are not cheap.

I was told that through Comet, you can’t buy the brushes seperate from the motor. Anyways, I bought some non gens from the parts supplier in Chorley, Lancs. I can’t remember their name, but if your still stuck by tommorrow evening, repost and I’ll post up the details of the parts shop.

Yes, single screw. Look a bit like the Merloni ones. Shall I email direct for the bad news on the price?

Comet will only sell you a complete motor. The last time I needed a set a made a pair from the larger size Philco carbons. They are the same size as the holders but you have to solder the pig tails.
