ParticipantI have a Blomberg oven type B15E Model no. EOD609SS/1 Serial no. O846BM121. The bottom door fell of the other day. I have managed to put it back on, but ever since the bottom oven does not warm up. The door seal is fine, but the oven just isn’t getting warm. The top oven and grill works fine. Any ideas please people. If it’s something like a thermostat that needs repairing or replacing, where or who can I call out to sort it?

Thanks. Is this something that I can fit myself, and how?

All I can tell you is that the element is behind the rear panel in the oven, any more than that I will be crossing legal boundries by giving technical information.
If you’re unsure, please check repairs@ and the directories for an engineer, if you decide on having a go, make sure it’s disconnected from the supply 1st :zap:

Whilst sitting on the legal fence, can you tell me if it something fitted through the inside of the oven, or by pulling it out of the kitchen units to get access to the rear?

It will come out through the oven but you may have to remove the oven from the housing to access the fixing screws for the element.

The link you gave me above lead me to an element item no. ELE4503. I ordered it and received an invoice for it and then received your delivery. The item I have received is ELE2051.
I fit it, and it works fine, but it is ever so slightly smaller in circumference than the one I took off, and will not allow the fan to spin inside it.
Is this because it is the wrong item? and how quickly can you send me the correct item?

ELE4503 and ELE2051 are actually the same part just from two different suppliers.
It sounds like it’s poorly manufactured to me 🙁
I’ll get another one out to you tommorow, sorry about that.
