Hi Guys been to a Blomberg condensing tumble dryer TKF 1230A which wasn’t heating due to one of the t/stats on the heater being duff.replaced heater + stats (1 unit) it now heats intermittently sometimes the prog ends before it should & other times the cycle starts to heat then the heat stops but the cycle keeps going & tumbling. Are there other sensors to look out for or could it be the timer playing up. Cheers Mack.
Check for fan blockage or condenser box blockage both cause the problem of heater going off for long times, theres a NTC on the front near door position on most of these new type Beko/Blomberg dryers.
Thanks Seamy I will look at that.We don’t get many tumble dryers in Cyprus so I was surprised when I looked at this condensing one without a water feed & a light inside the drum. Whatever next! & I understand these have an extra fan to blow cool air over the condenser & humidity sensors in the drum.Bit different to the washer dryers we love to hate. Thanks Mack.
