Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have a Blomberg 1503 AS (from Comet), five years old and has previously been great.

Today it is washing ok (drum turning -maybe a bit half-heartedly?), but when the cycle gets onto rinse/spin it just stops doing anything and makes a loud humming noise – (like something is stuck?) and stays like this to the end of the programme-leaving all the clothes in water.

I have drained the water off and taken the clothes out and want to know what to do next. Does it sound like something easy to fix?

    Cheers,Mel

It’s the pump jammed by the sound of it.

Have you checked the filter (right to the back of it) ?

    Dave.

Looked to the back of the filter with a torch and have fished out 2 x 1.5 inch pieces of wire

    Will give it go….

    Thanks Dave,

all fine now- I’m just wondering what mayhem the other half of the bra underwire is causing somewhere!……..

    Good news

I expect the rest will turn up in the filter pretty soon 😉

    Dave.
