Well it’s just one of those days 🙁

I Fitted a new pump motor after a hairband jammed it up, pump was well shot.

Anyhow the new pump ran for about 2 mins and then started smoking then popped the fuse, Never had a new pump do this before 👿 .

Checked again I hadn’t missed anything in the pipes and put another one on it and it now just runs constantly when turned on whether it’s filling, spinning, washing , so i’m guessing it’s blown the PCB any one else had one of these machines do this ???

Pumps are the only problem i’ve ever seen on these, i’ve never had a pump do this, it’s not the machines fault the new pump was naff.

I think generally the quality of them is pretty good.

I’m thinking about throwing it back at the suplier and tell him he owes me a PCB, Not sure if i’ll get anywhere though.

I’m hoping it’s just the pump supply triac on the board gone short circuit, I’m gonna look at it tomorrow.

    Yep

The triac is short circuit, now i’ve gotta find a replacment one for it, Maybe Tony from EMW could reccomend a replacment for it

It’s a T6A6CI got the datasheet for it and will be cross referencing tomorrow
