Nedis have sent out one of their special offer emails describing a little gadget as follows:
    “Konig fat analyser.
….It measures the fat percentage by the biological resistance of the body. With your height, weight, age and gender in mind it calculates your BMI value.”
Now this set me wondering how body electrical resistance correlates to fat percentage. What’s best for resisting electric shock, skinny or stout?
Or is it all, as I suspect, just blolocks.
    Mike.

Cor blimey Mike, not sure what point this has to do with ‘the trade’?

But anyway, fat blokes have less water content in their bodies than thin blokes. Water and electrics don’t mix so thin bloke more prone to electric shocks that fat bloke.

Fat bloke also can’t get into uncompromising positions to endanger his chance of exposure to electric shock. Thin bloke therefore more agile and likely to take greater safety risks.

Conclusion : If you are a fat bloke and in the trade then you’re less likely in running the risk of electrocution.

Anyone fancy a burger with fries? 😈

Anyway Mike, to prove that fact, yonks back we carried out a test on blokes that could hold the live terminals of a wind-up megger the longest before they would let go. The big boys won easily, no contest….!! 😈
