Bogus advice

following a post in the public D/W forums I checked on the Indesit website and it does appear to be giving totally incorrect advice.

A08 fault code

When A08 is definitely listed as a heater time out fault elsewhere. 😉

From the 750 manual.

A08Time out for water heating.
The module has not detected temperature increase in 60 minutes.
•Check that the thermistor is not detached from the inner door panel.
•The thermistor is out of calibration.
•The wash pump is not circulating the water.
•Check the element is heating, and the TOC is not opening after a time.
•If all above tests are OK replace module card.

I was going to post this in the General Trade forum but I know they will have people looking in there so don’t want them to think I may have access to things I shouldn’t.

I didn’t have time to go through all of the error codes listed on their website, I wonder how many of the others are incorrect?
