Bosch 1200 Classixx Express door sometimes won’t open

Intermittent problem where the machine completes cycle but the door remains locked. We get round it by running another spin cycle or drain cycle and usually (not always) the door unlocks after this cycle……. Problem getting more frequent. Where should I start looking ?

well 2 poss probs spring to mind

1 heater if there is a slight earth fault on the heater it upsets the electronics and wont finish the prog. try disconnecting and insulating the wires to the heater and run a rinse prog

2 the pressure bell blocked. the water height is decided by an air pressure switch if this is sticking or the tubes are blocke it will think there is still some water in the machine
(be careful if its a late machine you can destroy the switch by blowing in it)
