i am stuck!
lights will go on as instructions go in, but nothing works! (wash) (spin) or (dry)!
i expected to see a 240v fuse after taking off the top and back. but NO. i also expected to find 12v to the lights, but again no. there was 240v!
i thought that “water in” could be the problem. it had been before. but no! i checked in water both hot and cold. i also checked the filters.
i checked the drain, and took out some 2 pints. it could be that the fault came on as the drain pump was working.
please; what next can i check? it was a great machine.
i am in campbeltown, scotland. it is on the longest “cul de sac” in uk! glasgow is 150 miles as the crow flies, but only some 50 miles for the sea-gul! belfast is close, but across the irish sea!

The door interlock switch is the first thing I would check. If the door isn’t shut and that switch doesn’t engage then nothing will work anyway. Check it out and get back to us.

my wife could not open the door, but i geve it a “bang”, then it opened!
i will “proddle” about the switch, and see what happends!

gave door a few bangs with palm of hand.
hoped that would solve probl;em. buT NO!
reminds me that wife could not open door two daysn ago!
gave door a bang with palm of hand, and “hay presto” door opened!
the solution may be in the door. that was the last time the machine worked!
any help?

The door interlock could well be at fault here. You will need to check that out, also check the full model number that is on the inside of the door. It could be THIS one that you may need.

i have removed the soap dispenser and loosened the control panel. four thin wires ; (yellow, white, blue, red) hold the panel. i am unable to unplug them, but have unplugged the two other connectors. i have removed the four screws that hold the galvanised back plate for the panel, and the two screws at the bottom of the front panel.
i am trying to take off the front panel. am i on the right track, or should i remove the rubber door seal to get at the “door interlock”?

Power unplugged first, open the door. Simply remove the retaining ring from the door seal then access from there. Don’t mess with the control panel for heavens sake!
