bosch 494747 hilight hotplate

tried to wire up this ceramic hotplate today without success. the wiring is completely different from that on the ceranspeed element. there were no technical sheets enclosed with the element. there are only 3 spare terminals after wiring the actual element part of it but 6 wires. I got bosch to email me the wiring of these elements but after 2 hours I gave up. can anybody help?

had these sort of problems on other hobs. no doubt a wiring change

if you post pitures of each plate then someone may be able to help

Contact BSH for a wiring conversion chart. I wouldn’t mind betting the part was supplied by CDSL?

bsh have emailed me wiring diagrams but still not able to figure it out. im going to take off the new element and return it as its not fit for purpose.I wont get involved again, and steer clear of changing ceramic hotplates
