Does it do the rinses? and are the clothes when in the “fault”, still in water?
If so, it may be worth checking that the Rinse Hold button hasn’t been activated.
IIRC on these, the button springs back flush even when activated thus indicating that it hasn’t been pressed 😉Greg

With the appliance unplugged, its worth checking the heater with a multimeter for approx 20-30 ohms.

I take it that its turning?? If not you will need to remove motor and split it in half to gain access to brushes. If they are are worn and you feel up to the job, they can be purchased from here http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/product_ … cts_id=422
If not then feel free to use the link below to find an engineer in your areaGreg
Unplug appliance first of course :plug:

The motor is turning Greg thanks again, are we heading for a module fault ❓

ParticipantRe: Bosch
Does it actually heat the water (touch the door glass midway through wash)?

I switched the machine back on Greg and it went straight to the rinse part of the cycle then just froze on the spin section! light on no motor function!
The heater is working fine Greg 😕John.

ParticipantRe: Bosch
Update Greg as it stuck there on spin so we started a new wash where it stopped in the main wash 4 double clicks of a relay with a slight buzz between open and close then back into the wash again to repeat the 4 clicks etc stuck!

Does possibly sound like a power module fault IMO, cannot be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} without being there sorry. Unless some of the other engineers on here have any more ideas 🙂

Thanks Greg it gets stuck for sure at the wash cycle if you do a mains reset it starts washing again so the module is not resetting it looks like it may be a module problem ❓ If I switch the mains off it should on the panel as well as the socket it should when both switched on be dead till the start switch is activated but it is remembering where it was ❗
Thanks,
John.Tried a total off again this time it went to normal no light on untill you do a function ❗ ❗ ❗ sticks in wash but no spin if you select it pumps the water out ok before trying to spin.
