I need to replace our ageing AEG double oven, which has decided to start blowing the household electrics at regular intervals.

After a bit of searching around (why is it so hard to find specs of ovens??) I’ve cut the list to two.:

    AEG DC4013021M (£660)
    or
    Bosch HBM43B250B Classixx (£700)

They are pretty similar in spec. The AEG has telescopic shelves and is cheaper, the Bosch has the advantage of not being an AEG (my old AEG was a bit uneven in heat for baking) but lacks the telescopic shelves.

Any views on either of these models or brands? I want something with decent performance and longevity.

Or any better option in the up-to-£750 bracket? Needs to be a built-in double oven, catalytic liners all round.

If it was my money… probably the AEG.

Parts are cheaper and easier and tech available to the trade, Bosch not so much or, at all.
