    Hi,

This machine is 3 years old – I sold it to a neighbour. 🙁

It’s the same type as the current WAE24060 Tactical, has selector dial, and a vertical line of 3 led’s for showing where the program is up to: from top to bottom… spin-rinse-wash.

When any program is selected the rinse light immediately begins a constant flashing (does it forever). The door will not lock and the machine will not start.

Turn machine off and on and the same thing.

Anyone had this problem. Looks like a board fault maybe.

Seem to recall I had this some time ago, could be brushes. Then you need to reset the board as the fault indication stays on.

Do a search here for how to reset the board.

    Hope it helps

Thanks Brian, will certainly check brushes but trying to do a specific search here is difficult.

Will make a fresh post to see if anyone knows how.

Rinse light flashing is fault in drive circuit so definitely be looking at brushes / motor .

    To reset try:-
Set selector switch to the 6 o’clock position hold the spin speed button (just keep your finger on the button), turn the selector switch one click clockwise 7 o’clock and after a couple of seconds release the spin speed button.
It may still show F21 if it has a display but then switch off and switch back on and it should clear

Turned the selector to a program, pressed start button for 3 secs then turned selector to 11 o clock then off. Program selection back to normal.

Worn out motor brushes at fault. Changed a zillion motor brushes on Bosch but never had this happen before.

    Thanks everyone for your support.

I’ve got the same problem but the reset hasn’t worked, changed pump, then brushes and still rinse light flashes.
Any more pointers as to what to check next?
    Thanks

It is a motor problem so double check the continuity of the motor circuit.

Try reset procedure with motor disconnected. 💡

Had one of these the other day.
    Just to let you know how I reset the fault;

    Dial in off position.
Hold down start button whilst turning dial anti one click.
Release start turn dial to off.
    This should do it!

Lawrence and Tim……..It worked after several attempts. Thanks
It was a WAE24061 although search sent me to this thread.
Martin, didn’t need to disconnect the motor but will remember that for another time.
