THE FRIDGE LIGHT STAYS DIMLY LIT WHEN FRIDGE DOOR IS CLOSED .

read somewhere that this happens when the room temp is low, but this is situated in a warm kitchen

there is no humidity switch on this appliance

I’m thinking it may be an issue with the control PCB

any help on this issue appreciated

well if that is the case they woould have to sense the ambient temp of the room and i cant see a sensor listed and the control pcb is in the fridge

I would check the board for triac failure. triacs can fail to give half wave power so act as a diode
