    Got a Bosch built under double oven HBN7050GB/01 FD8209 which has had three new elements and one new thermal link in the past twelve months. Last element was fitted last Thursday 9th Oct and the thermal link was fitted 29th September.

    Customer has called today and reported no heat in the oven again so possibly another element blown.

    Does anyone have any information that would be helpful? It seems unlikely that the customer would just have bad luck with elements but we can’t see there is another fault. Any known problems with this model etc.?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    The elements are prone to shortish lives but are you using pattern parts or Bosch originals ? May be a slow or failing fan which could also account for the thermal switch failure.

    ive had a lot the original EGO elements on these ovens going short cicrcuit & have changed to irca elements from qualtex steve.
