    Hi

After about 7 years faithful service with one minor self repair job guided by this forum about 3 years ago to clear a down pipe filled with fluff, our dryer has now seemingly given up the ghost. Filter is clean and there is no leakage of water but clothes are not getting dry and they are also not getting hot. I guess maybe the heater has broken? Is there any way of fixing this easily or is it time to buy a new dryer?

    Thanks

A model number would help. 😉

It sounds like a blockage or something stopping the machine from condensing or allowing the condensed air to be vented correctly. But without more info it’s not possible to say.

    I believe we’re talking WTL6106GB/?? here?

I would imagine that maybe the ‘Dry’ light or the ‘Filter’ light may be flashing? Therefore a little more information may be in order to procede with this.

However, in spite of its age it is well worth spending out toward getting it fixed. Therefore I would seriously suggest you check HERE for a local independent engineer to sort it for you quickly and cheaply.:D
