Bosch Classix not spinning

I have a Bosch Classix 6 1200 express which is not spinning properly. I opened & cleaned the drain last and it spun OK then. But this morning done another wash and no spin! I did 2 x separate spins the 2nd one got it a bit drier but not nearly spun enough. I am confused a sit spun last night after clearing the drain so why is it now not spinning properly? It is also quite noisy now and made a few unheard before bleeps.Anybody have any advice please?

if its not spinning properly then the main faults will be

1 drain problems run the machine with no clothes in it through a rinse. after it fill cancel the progamme and select drain. you should visibly see the water going down

2 loading out of balance loads will not spin

3 brushes motor brushes wear with age and normally last about 5 to 7 years dependant on use. as they fail there will be a sparking noise comiong from the motor

Thats amazing thanks Dave, I think the machine must be at least 5 years old, if not more (my doesn’t time fly)so perhaps brushes? I would need to get a repair person in to see to that …. any idea what they might charge (I live in Southern UK)

i dont think its the loading out of balance as it was only a small load

Also, Ive just gone out to see whats happening with the load I put in to wash some time ago ….. the machine has stopped but the finish indicator hasnt come on BUT the 1200 & 600 red lights are flashing …. is this a fault code do you know?

What is the full model number (ENr no) of your machine?

Oh and now the dishwasher (attached to the same pipework/drain) hasnt washed …. surely not a coincidance?????

Hmm? Some sort of dance perhaps. A merry dance or could be a ceilidh or a disco?
