Hi, slightly unusual question as my dishwasher is now in fact working or at least it appears that way.
Dishwasher was unused for several months and when switched on, went into the perpetual fill-empty routine.
Matrix was all full of gunk that had set hard, cleared that out but still the same issue.
Other postings referenced a known impellor issue but couldn’t see impellor jug for my machine on the Bosch eShop site.
Eventually, dismantled what is referred to as the ‘Regulator-water level’ part:
263185. Looks like this is responsible (amongst other safety switches) for telling the unit it is full…?
Anyway, forced air through this device and it appeared to operate correctly.
Reassembled and dishwasher now appears to be working fine.
Despite 2 hours of faffing, things don’t normally go this well and then I noticed the problem and the question.
The water-level regulator is connected to a switch that has 3 prongs (2-short and 1 long) but the ‘wiring-plug’ it in-turn connects to contains only 2 ‘sockets’….
Which two are supposed to go in to the socket please?
When disconnected, dishwasher has same problem as before.
When connected to 1 set of two, not working.
When connected to other set of two pins, it works.
I’m thinking that the regulator had got stuck during the months of inactivity and some persuasion has fixed it.
Or, I’ve bypassed something by incorrectly wiring it up.
Any help greatly received.
