Bosch Classixx 1200 express Maxx (WF02466gb/07) spin issue

Hi Everyone,

As the title i have a Bosch Classixx 1200 express Maxx (WF02466gb/07) and the drum will not spin under power. The drum spins fine when i move it by hand but the wash and spin cycles do not have the drum turning.

I can hear what i think is the motor powering up but it sounds like its stuck or doesn’t have the power to start the drum. If that makes sense. I had an old woodturing lathe that made a similar noise and i ad to manually turn the motor before it would kick in.

Everything else about the machine seems fine. It fills and drains ok.

I have run a 90 degree wash with it empty as i read that may help but it is still the same.

I’m hoping it is some sort of replaceable motor issue. I’m pretty handy at fixing things i just have no idea where to start. I cannot find an instruction manual.

I am getting married in 5 months so i really just want to keep this going if i can rather than having to buy a new one.

What are you thoughts on whats wrong and any advice on taking it apart as i’m guessing the back needs to come off.

Motor brushes are probably in need of replacing,or the belt could be stretched or has even come off…
